GTI Strap Anchor System
Movable soccer goals must be anchored for the safety of players. 31 people have been killed due to falling soccer goals. The typical anchor system uses metal hooks, augers or spikes which creates a new hazard inside the soccer goal. Try sliding into a 10 inch J-Hook and you will know how dangerous they can be. During a training session last year a ball was kicked into the bottom corner of the net, it hit the auger anchoring the net down and punctured the ball completely. The Strap Anchor leaves only 1200 pound webbing inside the goal and allows you to put the spike in behind the net at an angle for better security. Sold per pair and includes Strap Anchors and 10 inch Spikes - we recommend 4 Strap Anchors per standard goal and 2 for mini goals.
