Stephanie was accepted to Oregon State University on an athletic scholarship and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science Pre Therapy. She moved to the University of Toronto and completed her masters in physical therapy in 2008. Stephanie grew up in greater Victoria and couldn’t wait to get back to the island after completing university. She is now pursuing a Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. Since graduation Stephanie has taken continued education focusing on vertigo/dizziness disorders, chronic pain and sport soft tissue release. Her philosophy is to treat the whole person and discover the root cause of an injury to ensure proper long term healing.
Stephanie has always enjoyed participating in sports and outdoor activities. She competed competitively in rowing for nine years and represented Canada at CanAmMex . Since moving back to Victoria she has found a new passion in the form of ultimate Frisbee! She feels that her personal experiences help her relate to and motivate her patients.
