Marina completed her Masters in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario and is an active member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association holding a position on the Executive Committee of the Global Health Division. Prior to her physiotherapy education Marina completed a BSc. in Kinesiology with honours from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and was a certified personal trainer through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. Marina uses knowledge from her background in biomechanics and exercise prescription to help her patients learn functional movement patterns in order to relieve pain and return to the sports and activities they enjoy. Since graduating she has taken an interest in furthering her manual therapy skills through continuing education courses aimed at relieving joint, muscular, and fascial restrictions. When she’s not working, Marina is out exploring the beautiful west coast and keeping active through running, swimming, or yoga.
