Liz is a Registered Acupuncturist and a Registered Massage Therapist as well as an avid yogi, traveler, and nature enthusiast. She has been practicing in the complementary health care field since 2007 where she began her career as an RMT. She continued her education in health and wellness by graduating with Honors from the Acupuncture program at Pacific Rim College in 2014.
Liz's Acupuncture practice includes the use of Traditional Chinese medicine techniques such as needling, cupping, gua sha (skin scraping), Tui Na (Chinese massage) and nutritional education. Liz treats a wide range of conditions including but not limited to chronic pain management, mental health such as stress, anxiety, post traumatic stress, depression and addictions, women's health, pre and post natal care, digestive issues, allergy relief and immune support.
Liz loves to work with those who are looking to better their quality of life. She aligns her practice with the definition of health from the World Health Organization "Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." She strives to meet all angles of the definition with each treatment so that patients are able to achieve happiness and health in body, mind and spirit.
